Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an onsite Intermediate Materials Buyer for a 12-month contract in Austin, Texas. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with slight variation as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years purchasing/procurement experience
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Experience with SAP/ARIBA procurement tools

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers under supervision
• Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, and manage orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain supplier records and monitor performance against contracts
• Lead purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing to maintain inventory at planned levels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement issues and optimize costs
