Job summary

Mars in Franklin, TN is seeking a Material Planner - Onsite to manage regional Raw & Packaging material planning, ensuring inbound material supply sufficiency and cost/cash optimization for the short-term horizon. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years in Supply Chain, plus 1+ years in Planning, Inbound Logistics, or Purchasing.

Experience with SAP and Advanced Planning Systems is preferred; on-site hours are typically 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in Supply Chain with relevant experience.
• 1+ years in Planning, Inbound Logistics, or Purchasing/Procurement.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Create raw and pack material Purchase Orders from system requisitions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to confirm PO dates and info in systems.
• Action system messages to support site production needs and inventory.
• Drive risk awareness and reporting through clear escalation forums.
• Own KPI calculation and improvement plans for assigned sites.
• Maintain partnerships with manufacturing sites and pursue E2E improvements.
• Ensure accuracy of SAP planning parameters and SLAs.
