Job summary

RTX in the Tucson area seeks a Material Handler to load, unload, move, and ship materials within a manufacturing environment. The role requires a CDL Class A license, active or interim U.S. security clearance, and the ability to operate powered equipment safely.

Responsibilities include handling containers, logging materials, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation. This is an onsite position with union representation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in core logistics functions (receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, delivery, packing, shipping).
• Lifts and handles materials and uses power/hand tools; follows safety guidelines.
• CDL Class A license required with hazardous endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within plant and offsite locations.
• Opens containers and prepares items for processing.
• Records logs and transactions in relevant systems.
• Identifies damage and validates material quantities against documentation.
• Operates equipment and ensures maintenance before/after use.
