Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an experienced Plant Controller for a fast-growing contract manufacturer just outside the Atlanta area in Austell, GA. This onsite role requires a strong background in accounting, GAAP, and manufacturing cost accounting, with responsibilities including monthly statements, budgeting, GL reconciliations, fixed assets, and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required.
Minimum 5+ years in accounting with GAAP experience; cost accounting exposure in manufacturing is valued.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls with internal/external auditors.
Manage general ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
Support tax function and liaise with lenders, auditors and authorities.
Provide actionable financial insights to support growth and strategy.
