Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an onsite 1st shift role in Malabar, FL. The position involves shipping and receiving, inventory control, and material handling tasks from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with potential for contract-to-hire.

Candidates must be able to lift items, use pallet jacks, and follow EH&S guidelines, with attention to detail and the ability to escalate issues to a supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or 2 years post-secondary/Associate’s degree).

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks supporting shipping, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment; reject unsatisfactory items where necessary.
• Determine routing and arrangements for shipments within parameters, considering item nature, handling method, size, urgency, and cost.
• Reroute urgent shipments or arrange special delivery as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records of shipped products and track shipments.
• Receive incoming materials, unpack and check goods against orders/invoices.
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to identifications.
• Maintain records of received goods, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
• Stock and distribute materials in inventory and on the manufacturing floor.
• Lift items and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks on request.
• Follow EH&S and process guidelines; escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
