Job summary

iRhythm Technologies in Orange County seeks an Operations Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment, troubleshoot line-down issues, and maintain detailed maintenance records in the CMMS. Role requires on-site presence and adherence to GDP and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical certification and 3+ years of maintenance experience in regulated environments, with strong problem-solving and collaboration

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification required or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/regulated environments preferred.
• Experience using maintenance logs, CMMS systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment (PCBA test gear, automation, label printers, fixtures).
• Respond to equipment issues and line-down events; troubleshoot, repair, or escalate to restore operations safely and quickly.
• Inspect equipment for wear/damage; take corrective actions to reduce downtime and recurrence.
• Assist in part changes, setup verification, and functional checks for production readiness.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and support corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Document work in logs/CMMS per GDP; follow approved procedures and safety rules.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities to minimize production disruption and drive improvements.
