Job summary

CBC Global Network is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Engineer in the Richmond, Virginia area. This role focuses on production-floor problem solving, equipment and process improvements, and project execution in a high-mix environment.

You will collaborate with operators, maintenance, quality, safety, and production leadership to improve reliability, throughput, and day-to-day operating performance. 40+ hours weekly with a base salary range and annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of manufacturing/production engineering experience in a custom/high-mix environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor observing processes and identifying improvements.
• Lead root-cause troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, automation, and production issues.
• Manage expense and capital projects from concept through installation and handoff.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, layouts, and production-system improvements through hands-on design and fabrication.
