SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure software releases are stable and production-ready through hands-on manual testing.
The role emphasizes functional, sanity, and regression testing, defect documentation, and maintaining test artifacts in JIRA/Xray. This onsite position in San Juan, Puerto Rico collaborates with developers and QA peers in an Agile environment, executing tests, updating test plans, and contributing to quality improvements for enterprise
Formación
- Experience performing manual software testing.
- Experience with functional, regression, and sanity testing.
- Experience creating and executing test cases.
- Experience using JIRA and Xray, or similar tools.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Responsabilidades
- Execute manual test cases for functional, sanity, and regression testing.
- Test new software releases, enhancements, fixes, and application changes.
- Identify, document, and report software defects clearly.
- Retest resolved defects and verify that fixes work as expected.
- Create, maintain, and update test plans, test scenarios, test profiles, and test data.
- Collaborate with developers and QA to resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain QA documentation.
