Job summary

KIT Custom HomeBuilders is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our onsite manufacturing facility in Caldwell, Idaho. This full‑time role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or facility maintenance preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment and identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
• Repair or replace worn and defective components.
• Assist with machinery installations, modifications, and upgrades.
