Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. in Ontario, CA is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to perform maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, and building systems at our onsite fulfillment center.

You will repair conveyors, automate systems, and handle electrical tasks with a basic understanding of AC/DC and voltage meters. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year in mechanical/electrical work, and familiarity with blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification or equivalent military training.
• 1 year or more experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• 1 year or more experience with conveyor, automation and sortation system repair.
• Read and comprehend technical manuals; familiar with blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC systems.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance: perform planned/unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment, PITs, and building equipment.
• Conveyor, automation and sorter systems: repair and maintain conveyors and sortation equipment.
• Electrical: understand AC/DC systems and use a voltage meter; follow lockout/tagout policy.
• System installation and repair: assist with installations of new or replacement equipment.
• Building maintenance: perform general facility repairs (electrical, lighting, HVAC, conveyors).
• Record keeping: input and maintain records in CMMS; read manuals and document changes.
