Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations in Wheeling, IL. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, applying machining, welding, and fabrication skills to restore performance and minimize downtime.

This is a fully onsite role requiring hands-on mechanical work, precision, and the ability to carry repairs from diagnosis to operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years hands-on industrial maintenance and repair experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Practical machining and welding/fabrication experience; ability to make/modify parts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical equipment failures, dismantle machinery, repair and verify operation.
• Machine, modify, fabricate, or repair industrial components to restore functionality.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints using precision measuring tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment; identify worn/damaged parts.
