Cencora is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Wyomissing, PA location. The role focuses on accurate entry of prescriptions, verification of patient data, and strict regulatory compliance. You will support inventory, packaging, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have PA registration, a related national certification (PTCB preferred), and at least two years of ambulatory pharmacy experience. This is a full-time onsite position with standard pharmacy hours.

Qualifications

• PA-registered pharmacy technician license is required.
• PTCB or national certification preferred.
• Two years ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred.
• State board certification is acceptable if equivalent to national standards.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Verify patient information and prescription details.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Label, count, and package medications correctly.
• Repackage bulk medications into prescriptions or automated systems.
• Pick, pack, and ship completed medication orders promptly.
• Manage inventory and reorder levels.
• Operate the point-of-sale system.
• Communicate with patients and prescribers to resolve issues.
