Job summary

Hach (Veralto) in Loveland, CO, is seeking a Machinist II to set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production environment. The role requires following SOPs, troubleshooting and contributing to process improvements on a onsite facility.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will handle calibration, testing and maintenance of equipment, and may cross-train on other lines. This position supports Veralto’s water quality mission and offers career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a limited degree of supervision.
• Proficiency developed through training and on-the-job experience.
• Provides solutions to problems in atypical or infrequent situations based on precedents.
• 3-6 months horizontal mill experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality products per the build schedule.
• Operate several production machines or operations simultaneously.
• Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics.
• Handle and dispose of chemical and non-chemical waste, some hazardous or regulated.
• Participate in team meetings for planning, problem solving and project work.
• Maintain organized work area with visual management of parts and raw materials.
• May cross-train on other equipment or areas as needed.
