Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical or related field from ABET-accredited university.
• Ph.D. with minimum of 4 years of experience, or MS with at least 8 years, or BS with at least 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, propulsion and heat transfer.
• Familiar with fabrication and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather data and assemble for assessment of changes and issues with hardware and test data.
• Collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Document and deliver results.
• Use analyses to evaluate component environments and ensure design goals are met.
• Apply analyses to pre- and post-test predictions of performance.
• Attend reviews and meetings to maintain knowledge of design and risk management.
