Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks Leads and Senior Level Piping Designers to join onsite teams in Houston, TX and other locations. You will lead piping design, model in 3D, prepare isometrics with BOM, and coordinate multi-discipline design activities for large capital projects.

Expect on-site work with pharma facilities, 15+ years of piping design experience, and 5+ years Lead experience. Strong ASME B31.3 knowledge and field coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years as Piping Designer in an engineering design firm.
• Lead experience: minimum 5 years for Leads.
• Minimum 5 years on-site pharma facility experience preferred.
• Experience with ASME B31.3 and pharmaceutical design.
• Laser scanning and field obstruction experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design activities and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Prepare 3D piping design and equipment modeling.
• Layout complex piping systems and equipment in 3D and create isometrics with BOM.
• Coordinate design activities with project manager and multi-discipline leads.
• Mentor design teams and improve piping workflows and standards.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and co-workers.
