Actalent in Hazelwood, MO seeks a detail‑oriented Chemist to support analytical testing in an onsite lab. The role focuses on instrument operation (HPLC, LC‑MS, GC), method development and strict data integrity under GMP-like controls.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Chemistry with 3–5 years of analytical experience, strong documentation practices, and ability to coordinate with the lab team to meet project timelines. This contract position runs Mon‑Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3–5 years of laboratory/analytical experience.
• Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC, spectroscopy, and titration.
• Strong documentation and controlled-document practices.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LC-MS, GC, spectroscopy, titration).
• Conduct analytical testing and method development/validation.
• Troubleshoot instruments and coordinate maintenance.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, analytical methods, and records.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with GMP and quality standards.
• Coordinate lab logistics to support testing schedules.
• Uphold safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
