Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking a Landscape Shop Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of landscaping equipment essential for keeping the grounds pristine. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to manufacturer specifications while supporting landscape operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Age: 18 years or older.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in related field.
• Must have held a full-time position for 6 months or more within one position.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Background check required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow checklists to inspect critical parts monthly.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotation.
• Plan work procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.
• Order and pickup parts from vendors.
• Repair or replace worn parts per manufacturer specs.
• Explain equipment issues and repairs to staff.
• Assist with fleet maintenance of landscape vehicles.
• Maintain grounds, remove trash, and assist with planting and bed maintenance.
• Operate heavy machinery for bed enhancement and drainage projects.
