Job summary

Zoetis in Louisville, KY seeks a Maintenance Engineer to maintain laboratory instrumentation and ensure equipment health and performance. This on-site role supports daily operations and off-hours maintenance within the Reference Laboratories team.

You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance, collaborate with IT, QA and Operations, and contribute to project timelines, training, go-live support, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working laboratory experience.
• 1+ year of scientific equipment maintenance.
• ASCP/AMT certifications preferred.
• A.S./B.S. or higher in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance for laboratory instrumentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Operations, QA to implement systems and inventory.
• Contribute to project timelines, progress reports, and lessons learned.
• Attend team and project meetings and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Support go-live at new laboratory sites with on-site assistance.
• Lead training sessions and participate in quality improvement projects.
