Job summary

Constellation Energy in Coatesville, PA is seeking a Lab Technician at an entry to senior level (Lab Tech I–III). The role focuses on equipment calibration, testing, and analysis under the Lab Tech team.

You will perform calibrations of measuring and test equipment, generate test reports, and support customer onsite calibrations. A High School degree and science/engineering aptitude are required; additional technical education or PMEL training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or better, plus aptitude for science/engineering.
• Strong math/analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to gain unescorted access to Constellation Nuclear Stations.
• Associates degree or 60 credits toward BS in a technical field, or PMEL training (no experience required).
• Demonstrated aptitude in chemical, electrical, mechanical, or metallurgical testing, analysis or calibrations.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup and perform basic calibrations of measuring and test equipment and/or tests and analysis of plant components, systems, and parts.
• Produce accurate test reports of calibrations and testing and verify results.
• Support or perform customer onsite calibrations or testing that may involve regional travel.
• Maintain and calibrate testing and analytical equipment.
• Interact with clients and vendors on technical projects and calibrations.
• Process vendor calibrations and conduct vendor source verifications for testing and calibration.
• Perform corrective / routine maintenance and/or repair of PowerLabs and customer equipment.
• Develop processes for and perform complex calibrations of measuring & test equipment and/or tests and analysis of plant components, systems, and parts.
• Plan, support, and perform customer onsite calibrations and testing that may involve regional travel.
