Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking a Software Developer to provide on-site software development for PMA290 SSA in Patuxent River, MD. The role requires Java development, Linux (RHEL) deployment, and containerized microservices, with a U.S. citizenship requirement.

Responsibilities include developing JAVA applications, deploying in Linux environments, and contributing to Agile processes to deliver sprints and critical SSA requests. U.S. security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software developer experience.
• 2-5 years experience developing JAVA applications.
• 2-5 years developing and deploying code in Linux (RHEL preferred) environments.
• 0-2 years experience creating containerized microservice applications.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of JAVA applications for large enterprise or microservice ABA workloads.
• Support deployment and integration in RHEL-based environments with Linux CLI proficiency.
• Work with containerized applications and hypervisors for ABA hosting.
• Create scripting solutions and standalone apps to resolve SSA requests.
• Support Agile development methodology and sprint delivery.
