Job summary

AstroForge is seeking its first dedicated IT Systems Administrator for Seal Beach, CA. You will own all IT, from end-user support to network administration and security compliance, acting as the sole IT department to build a scalable foundation for our hardware-forward startup.

You will work alongside engineers and leadership, managing devices, cloud services, and IT security in a fast-paced, aerospace-oriented environment. Local onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT systems administration or related role.
• Support for macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Experience administering network infrastructure: routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact; triage and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Design, deploy, and maintain corporate network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, wireless).
• Administer identity and access management systems and manage provisioning for employees and contractors.
• Procure, configure, deploy, and asset-track company hardware.
• Manage cloud services and SaaS applications and enforce license compliance.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies in line with ITAR, CMMC, and NIST.
