General Motors is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to assist engineering teams with desktop and collaboration systems. This role starts as remote/WFH until the Seattle office opens in January 2026, then onsite up to 5 days a week as the office fully opens.
You'll work with Ubuntu, Windows and Mac platforms, support video conferencing, and troubleshoot local networks. You will coordinate with remote teams to ensure seamless IT services and onboarding for new hires.

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Training, education and/or experience in Computer Operations. Other experience in computer hosting, Data center operations, etc. Being a subject matter expert for local IT systems Monitor service delivery and health of the environment Prepares, analyzes, summarizes and presents data in formats appropriate for the decision process (oral, written reports, presentations) Frequent contact with others outside the work group Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors
