Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support our Rockdale, TX facility. You will assist customers with item pick/put-away, handle receiving/shipping, document logs in Riot's software, and participate in down-stacking and palletizing.

This on-site role supports our inventory operations and warehouse workflows. You will perform cycle counts, manage shipping/receiving, maintain data in inventory systems, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately cycle count inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate computer software or willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications to generate reports and findings.
• Experience or exposure to inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving duties preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or sky tracks, or willingness to learn.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated team player with strong independent decision-making abilities.
• 1–3 years of warehousing, inventory control, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of material handling or equipment operation experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with productivity and communication tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
• Update inventory data using inventory management systems.
• Maintain batch records, shipment documentation, and related paperwork.
• Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips and report discrepancies.
• Process damaged, returned, or incorrect inventory and complete return documentation.
• Operate forklifts, sky tracks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and inspect equipment for safety and maintenance issues.
