OPW, a Dover company, is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to manage four facilities with about 7,000 SKUs. The role focuses on accuracy, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory and working capital. A strong background in Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools is required, with CPIM/CSCP certifications preferred.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with potential overtime. Travel up to 10% to NC facilities outside the Triad area may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, finance, industrial engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of hands-on inventory control, inventory analysis (ABC/XYZ), and supply chain analytics experience.
• Experience managing large SKU portfolios (5,000+ SKUs) across multiple locations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Business Objects).
• APICS CPIM Certification and APICS CSCP Certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt experience welcomed for improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve inventory accuracy across four facilities with ~7,000 active SKUs.
• Monitor inventory transactions, adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and ERP records.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Planning, Warehousing, and Manufacturing to correct inaccuracies.
• Develop and maintain inventory control procedures, policies, and audits.
• Conduct ABC analysis based on annual consumption value and inventory investment.
• Perform XYZ analysis to classify inventory by demand variability and forecast accuracy.
• Develop inventory strategies by segment: AX, AY/BX, CZ items.
• Recommend safety stock, reorder parameters, and stocking strategies.
• Lead investigations into discrepancies, shortages, stockouts, and excess inventory.
• Drive improvements to reduce shrinkage and improve transaction discipline.
• Develop and manage ABC-based cycle counting programs.
• Create dashboards and KPIs; produce weekly/monthly reports for leadership.
• Support annual physical inventories and ERP enhancements.
