Job summary

Porter Logistics is expanding its Savannah facility and seeking an Inventory Specialist to own the accuracy and organization of warehouse inventory, from cycle counts to discrepancy resolution and WMS recordkeeping.

This full-time, on-site role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams. Competitive benefits accompany the hourly compensation of $20–$23, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear, professional communication across internal/external teams.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with a WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts across client inventory sections to verify accuracy and catch discrepancies early.
• Investigate and resolve differences between physical inventory and recorded levels.
• Update and maintain inventory records in Porter’s WMS and reconcile with client WMS systems.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, leadership, customer success and clients to address inventory needs and resolve issues.
