Job summary

Propio Language Services is recruiting for on-site contract interpreters in the Providence, RI area. You will interpret consecutively between English and other languages during assignments and may provide remote interpretation when needed.

Candidates should meet client credentialing standards and maintain privacy and security compliance. Applicants should have professional interpreting experience, relevant certifications or training, and the ability to travel to assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret consecutively between English and other languages.
• Proficiency in multiple languages and professional interpretation.
• Knowledge of healthcare interpreting standards and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain professional language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge.
