Trace3 in Milpitas, CA seeks an Integration Technician for onsite duties. You will manage sales order builds, spanning servers, storage, networking, and rack installations to meet ship dates. You will configure hardware, install operating systems and hypervisors, update firmware, and document rack builds.

Strong Windows/Linux skills and customer support experience are required. Three years of related experience and an AA degree or equivalent, plus excellent communication and teamwork, are

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and write routine reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Configure servers, storage subsystems, networking devices, and workstations.
• Integrate hardware and configure software applications per customer requirements.
• Perform rack build-outs, cabling, and documentation.
• Manage customer sales orders to meet ship dates.
• Update firmware, BIOS, and configurations as needed.
• Install operating systems and hypervisors.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Coordinate with sales on order status and questions.
• Conduct technical research via online resources and documentation.
