Job summary

CB5 Solutions LLC is looking for a Hybrid Platform Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures and managing hybrid systems utilizing VMware Cloud Foundation, AWS GovCloud, and Azure. Candidates should have at least 7 years of IT experience, with substantial cloud engineering and leadership roles. Strong skills in automation tools and Kubernetes are essential. This position offers a dynamic environment with limited travel requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with 3 years in cloud engineering roles.
• Must meet DoD 8570 certification requirements (e.g. Sec+) within 60 days of hire.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid environments for Missile Defense Space Center.
• Manage lifecycle of secure, air-gapped on-premises infrastructure.
• Conduct daily system monitoring, backup, and application upgrades.
