Job summary

Figure, an AI robotics company, is seeking a Humanoid Robot Operator & Data Creator to work onsite at a customer facility in Fontana, CA. The role is contract-to-hire with the goal of full-time employment, with shifts including morning and overnight.

You will run operations on humanoid robots, collect motion data to train our models, and keep the site running day to day. Travel throughout the US is required, and you must be able to stand 8+ hours while managing hardware.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel throughout the US.
• Willingness to own operations of humanoid robots.
• Must have excellent communication and physical coordination.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours and manage humanoid hardware.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operations of robots at customer site.
• Wear sensor equipment to collect motion data for AI training.
• Follow maintenance procedures for setup and shutdown.
• Operate robots, identify issues, and relay feedback to engineering.
• Track and document issues using Jira and share daily feedback.
• Adhere to safety procedures for robot and teleoperation equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace across operations.
• Support site upkeep and other hands-on tasks as needed.
