Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for an onsite role in Davenport, IA. You will act as a primary point of contact for employees and deliver timely HR support aligned to Eaton values.

Responsibilities include supporting hourly talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits and payroll inquiries, and employee relations, plus producing HR reports for compliance and planning. A bachelor's degree and 1+ year HR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of HR experience.
• Location: Davenport, IA area within 70 miles; relocation not offered.
• Active-Duty Military Service members exempt from geographic limitation.
• Knowledge of ADA, EEO, FLSA, and FMLA.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for employees and deliver timely HR support.
• Support hourly talent acquisition activities and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation to strengthen engagement.
• Serve as a local SME for benefits and payroll inquiries with centralized teams.
• Support employee relations and policy enforcement.
• Produce standard and ad hoc HR reports for compliance and planning.
• Drive employee engagement, inclusion, and diversity initiatives.
• Assist with audits, compensation changes, and records updates.
