Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks a Hardware Service Engineer Intern to work onsite at a partner/customer office. You will assist in repairing HPC compute, network, and storage hardware, document actions, and collaborate with the team using Teams and Slack.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/CS/IT with an interest in HPC. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, problem solving, and timely task execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with Linux and basic technical tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on HPC compute, network, and storage hardware.
• Review tickets and document actions taken; pass ticket to next step.
• Collaborate with team via face-to-face, phone, Teams and Slack.
• Assist with system installation activities and learn new technologies.
• Support senior team members on technical projects as directed.
