Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in grades 9–12 near Shiocton, WI. The role focuses on reading instruction and individualized support in a low caseload, onsite setting.

You will develop and monitor IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, and provide targeted reading interventions to foster student growth and achievement within an inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Special Education Teacher certification.
• Experience teaching high school students (grades 9-12).
• Strong background delivering reading instruction to diverse learners.
• Commitment to individualized education planning (IEPs) and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated reading instruction and specialized academic support to students in special education.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to foster inclusive learning.
• Provide direct instruction with scaffolded support and regular progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for compliance and communication.
• Contribute to student assessments, goal setting, and advocacy within the education system.
