Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Mechanic in Lebanon, Indiana, responsible for performing all functions needed for onsite mechanic and maintenance of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience, a current driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a relevant field.
• Basic computer knowledge/skill.
• Current driver’s license is required.
• ASE Certified preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shop equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets performance specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to determine extent of damage.
• Maintain supplies and call for repairs as needed.
• Complete and file all appropriate reports and paperwork.
