Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an Electrical Hardware Integration / Test Engineer to work onsite on the Cray line in the United States. You will develop and execute test plans to validate components, boards, and full systems, focusing on bring-up, regression testing, and root-cause analysis.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 4–6 years of test engineering experience, with strong schematic interpretation, lab hardware testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4–6 years in test engineering, bring-up, debugging, and validation of components and boards.
• Ability to read schematics and trace PCB signals; familiarity with lab hardware testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive bring-up activities for new systems, including hardware assembly, visual inspection, power-up, and system validation.
• Collaborate to evolve qualification processes to improve failure detection and resolution.
• Support root-cause analysis with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams; evaluate proposed fixes; conduct experiments.
• Maintain lab equipment and resources, improving lab organization and efficiency.
• Coordinate requirements from multiple engineers while moving multiple projects forward.
• Develop and document test plans, results, procedures, and traceability; track proto-hardware and ECO status.
• Post test results and proto-hardware status in archives/databases.
• Track and update bugs and issues promptly.
