Job summary

Rite Corporation in San Francisco is seeking a personable, professional handyman for our ~20,000 sq ft vintage office building in the Inner Mission. This is a part-time onsite role for an experienced handyman who lives in SF and has their own truck.

You’ll work with the property manager to perform maintenance, repairs, and light construction, manage tasks end-to-end, and document work. Flexible schedule with on-site visits 2–3 times a week and limited on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general building maintenance or handyman services.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair knowledge.
• Experience using standard hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to diagnose and solve common building maintenance issues.
• Familiarity with safety practices and building standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing leaks and fixtures.
• Perform light electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets).
• Repair drywall, patching, painting, doors/locks, hardware.
• Monitor building systems and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
