Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician I in the Howard County, MD area for a fully onsite role. The technician will support aseptic processing, cell culture, filtration, purification and fill-finish activities in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment.

Qualifications include HS diploma with biotech coursework or AA/BS degrees, and hands-on experience with manufacturing operations, batch records, and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Work in GMP-regulated cleanrooms with gowning.
• Perform manufacturing tasks with limited oversight and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Complete batch records and production documentation per SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities in GMP cleanrooms, including aseptic processing, cell culture, filtration, purification, and fill-finish support.
• Prepare, sterilize, stage, and manage materials, consumables, and equipment for production operations.
• Perform equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, maintenance, and monitoring to ensure readiness.
