Job summary

Technologist Inc. is seeking a GIS Analyst to support work onsite at Cheyenne Mountain SFS in Colorado Springs. This full‑time, onsite role requires expertise in GIS and related software to develop and maintain spatial data and maps for multiple units.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a GIS analyst, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance; a bachelor's degree and experience with ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, Oracle, and databases are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of GIS analyst experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Serve as GIS specialist for engineering graphics with GIS programs.
Perform GIS tasks for Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB and GSUs.
Develop GIS drafting/mapping programs, standards and instructions per SDSFIE and AEC standards.
Coordinate with GIS staff to create user-friendly spatial data applications.
Maintain and update facility drawings and GIS/CADD databases.
Apply cartography principles to develop interactive mapping and data visualization.
