Job summary

Concentra is seeking a General Surgeon to join on-site as an independent contractor for short, regular shifts. The role supports work-related injuries with both surgical and non-surgical care, integrated into a case-management framework.

The position emphasizes collaboration with medical and therapy teams, coordination with employers, and a revenue-share compensation model. Board-eligible or board-certified surgeons are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Medical Malpractice insurance coverage on site.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients on-site during a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
• Collaborate with medical and therapy providers and participate in case management for work-related injuries.
• Communicate with employers and support return-to-work and functional restoration efforts.
