Job summary

The Moret Group in New York is seeking a Production Coordinator to support garment production workflows, coordinate with factories, design, sales, and traffic, and ensure orders move on schedule. This role emphasizes attention to detail and clear communication across teams.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in production or operations.
• Strong MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Very detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, patterns, processes, and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up style numbers and create purchase orders in AMT system.
• Handle daily correspondence with factories and liaise with design, sales, and traffic.
• Oversee time and action and production WIP charts with production team.
• Follow up with overseas factories to ensure execution of production orders.
• Ensure on-time deliveries of bulk orders and communicate delivery updates to sales.
• Collaborate with traffic and accounting to ensure release and goods arrive in warehouse on time.
• Create cost charts for review with department head for margins.
• Review, check and comment on samples for spec and quality.

• Work with production team members to oversee all time and action
• and production WIP charts. Follow up with overseas factories to ensure execution of all production orders
• Responsible for on time deliveries of bulk orders, and timely communication with sales with any delivery updates
• Partner with the traffic and accounting department to make sure release and goods arrive in WH on time
• Create cost charts to review with department head for relevancy and desired margin.
• Review, check and comment on samples for spec and quality.
