Job summary

CoinPicks in downtown Orlando, Florida is seeking a hands-on AI-focused full-stack developer to own the current website, research plans, and integrations, including the Beacon API and user access controls. You will build and ship AI features, evaluate models, handle tool-calling workflows, monitor production, and collaborate on the roadmap for autonomous agents and automated trading.

This role is in person only, with base salary in USD, and requires delivering production-ready code and secure,

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI development experience with a production feature shipped to real users.
• Experience integrating model APIs and building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Ability to explain AI architecture, data access, security boundaries and cost/latency tradeoffs.
• Strong JS/TS, React, Next.js, backend API and SQL skills with testing and deployment ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack development on the CoinPicks website, including AI features and Beacon API work.
• Build and ship AI research and strategy features using model APIs and controlled tool execution.
• Extend agent integrations and help roadmap planning for lead and specialist workflows.
• Maintain evaluation, failure handling, monitoring, and cost/latency controls from development to production.
• Enforce data boundaries, protect authentication and permissions, and investigate production issues.
• Document operational decisions and ensure reliable, scalable production systems.
