Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Carthage, TN is seeking an entry-level Machinist/Equipment Operator to set up, program, and run machinery from blueprints and work orders. You will read calipers and micrometers, verify measurements, and ensure quality while adhering to safety guidelines on an onsite shop floor.

The position is full-time, first shift, with overtime potential and no relocation offered. Strong teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn in a growing manufacturing environment are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a measuring tape, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to read blueprints (green sheets).
• Ability to identify tooling needed, determine cut length, and program the bender.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate machines according to blueprints and work orders.
• Accurately measure product using various tools.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.
• Perform routine machine service and inspect output for specifications.
