Job summary

Raise is seeking an Intermediate Warehouse Materials Handler in Charleston, WV, onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. This 6-month contract role focuses on loading/unloading trucks, moving materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations with strong forklift experience.

The ideal candidate has hands-on forklift experience with heavy-capacity equipment, a reliable safety record, and the ability to work well in a small team in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on forklift operating experience; 5+ years strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts (7,000+ lbs. strongly preferred).
• Current or recent forklift certification; site-specific certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Move, position, stage, and organize materials with warehouse equipment.
• Assist with receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support periods of high shipping and receiving activity.
