Job summary

Meaden & Moore invites qualified accounting students for Investigative Accounting Internship positions in Chicago. Interns will gain real-world experience working on engagements involving property insurers, evaluating physical damage and business income losses, with flexible start/end dates for January 2027–August 2027.

Both part-time (20–29 hrs/wk) and full-time (30–40 hrs/wk) internships are available, and the opportunity is fully onsite.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior level student in accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Microsoft Excel at intermediate/advanced level; Windows proficiency.
• Motivation, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support investigative accounting engagements evaluating property insurers' damages and business income losses.
• Review historical financial data, revenue/expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage assessments.
• Expose yourself to a range of industries from small retailers to multinational entities.
