Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking two Manufacturing Production Supervisors for onsite, six-month contract engagements in Washington State. You will lead a production shift, owning safety, output and quality, and develop frontline teams on that shift.

This hands-on leadership role requires on-floor presence, disciplined processes, and engagement with safety and quality standards to maintain consistent production. Equal opportunity employment is provided.

Qualifications

• Requires prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing production environment with accountability for safety, output, and quality.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements including lockout/tagout and machine guarding.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with ability to make decisions under production pressure.
• Comfortable with production reporting systems and basic computer applications; onsite work for full assignment; shift work including nights/weekends as schedule requires.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production associates across an assigned shift, manage staffing to the schedule, and adjust for absenteeism, changeovers, and demand.
• Enforce PPE requirements, lockout/tagout discipline, safe work practices; conduct safety talks; investigate incidents; drive corrective actions.
• Monitor throughput, yield, downtime, and scrap; identify root causes of loss; lead or support continuous improvement on the line.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and warehouse to keep the line running.
• Uphold food safety and quality standards including GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls, and sanitation protocols; verify production and quality records; support audits.
• Train and coach team members; manage timekeeping and attendance; escalate employee relations as needed.
• Ensure rigorous shift handover with clear status, open issues, and staffing information; partner with HR on performance and conduct matters.
