HealthFitness in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Program Manager I - Fitness to lead and grow on-site fitness programs for a multisite client. You will supervise operations, design wellness initiatives, and coach members to achieve health goals.

Ideal candidates have a related degree, 2+ years in fitness, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and strong leadership and MS Office skills. This role emphasizes excellent member experiences and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Exercise Science or related field with relevant certifications.
• Minimum 2+ years in the fitness/health promotion industry.
• Current Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications with in-person component.
• Ability to lead, manage and operate a fitness center.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with motivation ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational aspects of a multisite client fitness program.
• Design and facilitate health promotion, fitness, and wellness programs.
• Monitor program performance and prepare outcomes-focused reports.
• Provide floor coverage, member support, and facility oversight.
• Conduct fitness assessments, orientations, and coaching sessions.
• Lead group fitness and personal training experiences to inspire healthier lifestyles.
