Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, life-safety devices, and NFPA standards.
• Fire Alarm License a MUST.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and building plans.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and accessing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and control panels (excluding sprinkler and portable extinguishers).
• Identify hazards, document inspection results, and support corrective actions.
• Prepare clear inspection reports and maintain records of testing procedures and repairs.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with building occupants, facility staff, and contractors.
• Explain inspection results and code requirements in a clear, professional manner.
