Job summary

State Systems, Inc. in Lowell, AR is seeking a Fire Alarm Installation Foreman to oversee installation projects and lead technicians in the field. This on-site role requires coordinating crews, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality, tested fire alarm systems.

You will manage on-site communications with project managers, inspectors, and customers, while upholding safety and company standards. Prior foreman experience and NFPA 72 knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage installation experience; leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72 and local code requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, device layouts, and riser diagrams.
• Strong communication and team-leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Low Voltage License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire alarm installation crews on commercial job sites throughout Northwest Arkansas.
• Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers, inspectors, general contractors, and customers.
• Ensure all work meets NFPA 72, AHJ requirements, manufacturer specifications, and State Systems quality standards.
• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems and related low-voltage equipment.
• Oversee rough-in, device installation, panel terminations, labeling, and system commissioning.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective work as needed to resolve installation or programming issues.
