SURESTAFF is hiring a Director of Finance for a plastics company in South Chicago, IL. This senior leadership role reports to the CEO, President and VP of Operations, overseeing all financial operations to ensure accuracy and strategic cash flow.

Based onsite, the role drives financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance (GAAP, SOX). A CPA and public company experience are required, with strong leadership and ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Public company experience and M&A exposure preferred.
• Experience in growth-stage companies.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning by analyzing performance and risks.
• Oversee financial operations and direct budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage finance IT systems and reporting.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Lead external audit and tax functions; ensure SOX compliance.
