Job summary

OPEX Corporation is seeking a full-time onsite Field Service Technician to support Warehouse Automation. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment using hand tools.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with strong electronics and some software experience, thriving in a fast-paced environment with robotic technology. Responsibilities include keeping equipment running in production, installing new equipment, and

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
PC competency including Word & Excel and Windows OS.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Possessing a driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently.
Standing and walking throughout the shift.
Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces near equipment.

Responsibilities

Keep equipment running in production, performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Install and set up new equipment.
Interact with the customer to determine the problem and provide updates.
Complete field service reports and timecards/expense reports.
Maintain communication with customer and management regarding repairs and performance issues.
Collaborate with other personnel to analyze and correct equipment issues.
