Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Electrical start-up/testing experience with breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs.
• Electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) preferred; valid driver's license; travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to field services projects on customer sites (end of life, modernization, upgrade).
• Supports Level 2–4 field service engineers and client personnel in testing electrical equipment.
• Interprets blueprints and service documents; documents test reports and service summaries for customers.
• Creates documentation and electronic references to support field service reps.
• Performs site assessment, install, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Communicates with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth scheduling; builds rapport with clients.
